“The Lord shall reign forever and ever.” Ex. 15:18

There is a kingdom that exists. It has mountains, castles, mighty weapons, forgotten mysteries, battles, love, and beauty. This kingdom has all the adventures of our beloved fairy tales and heroic stories. The only thing that seperates this kingdom from the ones in our stories, is that it’s real. It’s bustling with life all around us right now.

Of course, if there’s a kingdom; there must be a king to rule over it. This is our God. He is more powerful than any earthly ruler. He has existed from eternity and will exist into eternity. He IS existence itself and holds together this natural order by His power and goodwill.

This king is also my father. I’m his child. I have never ending invitations to His heart and affection. How could I possibly ignore this? I will not! I refuse to ignore His eternal plan and purpose.

I will pick up my sword and fight the battle. (Because we ARE in war!!!) I will live in the adventure of His kingdom and do His will. It’s more real than anything I know. My destiny is to get lost & found in His love and he will reign in my life forever.

“Then I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying, ‘Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.” Revelation:19:6
